Seva Mandal Education Society has been a pioneer in providing qualitative educational facilities to girl students for the last six decades. We started on a humble note in 1957 with just seven students and today our campus which is located in the central suburb of Matunga houses eight institutions with over 6000 female students. We offer every educational opportunity ranging from Junior college to undergraduate programs postgraduate programs and certificate courses in faculties of Arts, Commerce, Home Science, Computer applications, Management, Mass Media, Law and Nursing. Our vision statement is the “Empowerment of Women through Quality in Education” and it is our objective to ensure that female students who would have otherwise been denied the opportunity for education are given the chance to pursue their dreams.

Greetings! You’ll agree that the above quote has found great relevance in the Academic year 2020-2021! It has been a momentous year which has created havoc and shaken us out of our comfortable, familiar NORMAL routine and pushed us forward into a totally unpredictable NEW NORMAL! The journey was full of challenges, but we, at SCNI Polytechnic, don't believe in giving up. We realized early in the beginning of the academic year that this was an opportune moment to let the creative juices flow. It was the perfect time to innovate and look for opportunity in adversity!
Our dedicated staff swung into action making excellent use of online platforms available for conducting online Classes. With supportive Management, Teaching, Non-teaching and of course our students, we decided to explore every opportunity to contribute in a proactive and effective manner to Empower through Education!
We have successfully continued with online Classes for all our Certificate and Diploma courses in Applied Art, Fashion and Textile Designing, Catering, Interior Designing and Decoration, Travel and Tourism & Hospitality Management and Beauty Culture & Hair Dressing. The highlight of these courses is that they are Skill-oriented and charge reasonable fees. They of course are in line with our mission which is Empowering Women through Education. Certainly these courses enhance employability skills. We have excellent, qualified and dedicated staff who worked sincerely in spite of the Lockdown. The Campus boasts of good infrastructure too!
